We are delighted to announce that Blake Morrison will be opening the inaugural Poetry In Aldeburgh Festival with a reading from his Suffolk-inspired collection, SHINGLE STREET.

Joining him will be organiser of Coffee-House Poetry at the Troubadour, Anne-Marie Fyfe reading from her new collection, HOUSE OF SMALL ABSENCES, and some new sea-inspired work from her residency last autumn in The Lookout.

Diaries out! This opening event will be at 7pm in the Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall. Along with sea and shingle poems, cocktails and mocktails will be served.
