Poems For Paris From Paul Stephenson

August 17, 2016

Paul Stephenson will be reading with Mona Arshi and Dan Burt in the Jubilee Hall on Sunday 6 November in the event, MAKING SENSE OF THE PAST IN THE PRESENT.

Paul took part in the Jerwood/Arvon mentoring scheme and was one of the Aldeburgh Eight in 2014. A winner of the Poetry Business book and pamphlet competition, judged by Billy Collins, his pamphlet - Those People - was published by Smith/Doorstop in 2015.

A former resident of Paris, his second pamphlet contains poems written while living in the city.

"I will be reading from my forthcoming pamphlet which contains poems written in the immediate aftermath of the Paris attacks where I was living at the time," explains Paul. "My reading at Poetry in Aldeburgh will effectively be the launch of this second pamphlet, a year since the events of November 2015."
