AMBIT is a 96-page quarterly literary and art magazine. It is created in London, published in the UK, and read internationally. Available through subscription, in selected bookshops, and in libraries worldwide, the magazine is put together entirely from unsolicited submissions via their website. Everything that is sent to us is considered, and preference is not given to well-known writers over newer artistic talents.

BRIONY BAX is the new Editor of Ambit and a member of the Board of Trustees of the newly formed Ambit Charity. She recently returned from spending 25 years living in America where she wrote poetry, worked for non-profits, ran a cooking company and founded a charity that works in Kenya. She’s now back in the UK and honored to be following in Dr. Martin’s footsteps. Related to Dr. Martin by marriage, she is the daughter of the late poet Adrian Mitchell.

RALF WEBB is reviews editor and assistant poetry editor at Ambit.
