ART AT THE FESTIVAL

Neil Hanger, ‘[sic]’
We are delighted to be hosting an exhibition with our brilliant artist-in-residence Neil Hanger, whose show ‘[sic]’ will be on at the Aldeburgh Gallery on the High Street for the duration of the festival. Neil will be on hand to talk to visitors about his work, which transforms words and text into interactive pieces that encourage viewers to interpret and puzzle over meaning.
The show is free to attend, but walkthroughs with Neil must be booked on our website, as there is limited space in the gallery. They are available on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th over the lunch break on both days. Visit here to book your ticket.
Bill Jackson, The Space Between Days

And while at the festival look out for some extraordinary images in the skies after dark – projected on the walls of the South Lookout Tower to be precise. We are thrilled to be featuring Bill Jackson’s The Space Between Days, a multiscreen installation which explores the territory between sleep and dreaming, filmed over 18 months across London, Puglia and the striking landscapes of Suffolk, and featuring an original score by composer Esbe. The film will be available to watch inside the Lookout as well, so please check screening times in the festival programme.
